Hello and welcome.

In the main, this is a digest on my own personal experience with Crohns Disease where I will try to relate my experiences with the condition and pass along things that have helped and/or hindered my progress with the disease and my life.

But,

I would like this to be much more than that. Ideally, I would also like it to be a dialogue. A place where you too can relate your experiences with Crohn’s; what you did to improve your condition and things that you want to pass on that that could help other people.

Crohn’s disease is not a fun thing at the best of times but, I know that in my own experience funny things have happened along the way and I have and will be relating some of them here.

How about you? Do you have any funny or interesting stuff that you could share? If you do I will pleased to publish them on my blog as an article and give you full credit and a link back to your site if you have one.

We are now in the depths of a seemingly major recession and all that you hear, all day long is how terrible everything is and don’t it look bleak, and boy what wouldn’t I give to here something good……!

Suffering from Crohn’s Disease is much the same. There are so many bad stories out there. You are more than welcome to relate those stories here as well and I’d be glad to have them and glad that you could get them off your chest.

But, wouldn’t it be nice to read about the good stuff. The stuff that says there is hope. The stuff that says you can be optimistic. The stuff that says this is what I did and it worked and now my life is so much better for it.

I know that those stories are out there because I’m one of them. I have gone through some horrendously bad times and major surgery and the lot. But, I am doin’ all right now, thank you very much.

Those are the stories that I would love to have here. With any chronic disease there invariably comes with it a lack of hope and loosing hope really is the big killer. So, spread a bit of hope around because there really aint nothing nicer.
